As a long time resident of the Tri-Valley area for over 35 years I’ve seen a lot of changes in this area. I have owned and operated a couple of businesses in Livermore over the years. My background has been in the graphic arts field, automotive in particular. One of my businesses was responsible for lettering Livermore’s police patrol cars. However I’ve spent the last 6 years in the Real Estate industry and found a need to re-invent myself due to the now obvious circumstances.
When I was given a opportunity to run this company I decided I wasn’t going to pass up on a chance to create something as unique and creative as a mobile inkjet refilling service. Our focus is on targeting business parks and suites of offices on a regular basis. But we also realize there are in this economy many home based businesses also needing to save money. And are using enough ink to warrant our attention to help them do the right thing when it comes to the environment.
Our philosophy is that if you make the refilling or recycling process simple enough, then many more people will get involved. So far it seems we are right on target!
Our objective is to provide a service that wows our customers to the point they are compelled to share the experience with others. That been said, customer satisfaction is paramount to our success and is the reason we value the opportunity to satisfy our customers. We are always open to new ideas of ways we can make our service even better. We are hoping our website can help make it easier for customers to communicate their thoughts on the subject.
Back in the early stages of setting up the company’s goals & objectives I had a dilemma. Our suggested inkjet refill prices where so much lower than our competition in most cases. We really didn’t want to get into a big pricing issue that was complicated. We wanted something that was easy for our customers to retain when it came to the cost of our refills. But it just seemed like we could easily increase it by a buck or so and it would still be less almost always across the board.
One morning I had a dream. It was one of those early morning type dreams, you know the type where you figure out how to overcome the world’s biggest problems like how to cure world hunger or something just as miraculous. I thought, why not charge an extra dollar but donate it? So since I had given to the Tri-Valley Haven a few times in the pass, I thought why not them. They do a fantastic job and have for 30 years now providing a safe haven for adults and children that have experienced domestic violence & other serious problems. Especially since the economy has put huge financial pressures on families due to the poor economy. I just thought it was the right thing to do and something we could continue to do each month.
Thankfully we’ve found that people love the idea of having a part in helping out.
